DERBYSHIRE, UK – 17 November 2020 – A1 Comms Business has hired four new team members as it responds to the needs of clients during the coronavirus pandemic.

Mia Lewis has joined as Marketing Manager after working in the sector across a range of industries and will develop brand awareness and support overall growth.

Heather Townsend is Customer Service Team Leader, having previously specialised in B2B sales in the telecommunications, IT and distribution sectors.

New Business Sales Executive Alex Andrews will adapt his product knowledge from his time in telecom sales to explore different avenues of growth for the B2B division of A1 Comms.

Helen Kind has been signed as Customer Service Executive after more than a decade in automotive sales and has skills of negotiation, account management and sales.

They have arrived as A1 Comms Business has assured customers and potential clients that it is continuing to trade as normal despite the pandemic.

Managing Director Steve Heald said: “We’re closely following the advice of the UK Government and The World Health Organisation and are fully prepared for any outcome, ensuring our services are uninterrupted.

“Our workforce is completely cloud-based and the services we offer will continue undisrupted. The A1 Comms Business telephone line can easily be diverted to staff mobiles using our own YAPPL VOIP telephone system. This ensures business can continue as normal and colleagues can take work calls from home.

“All team members have access to screen sharing and conference call software which means we can hold and attend virtual meetings as normal without the need to travel or meet in person.

“By ensuring that our business continues as usual, we can ensure those of our clients do too. As guidance evolves, so do we. And we’ll be here to support clients with a ‘business as usual’ mentality no matter what. This has been demonstrated by the continued expansion of our workforce with high-quality signings.
