DERBYSHIRE, UK – 23 June 2022 – Virgin Media O2 crowned A1 Comms, parent company of online brands Affordable Mobiles and Buymobiles, as Best Postpay Partner at its prestigious Indirect Partner Excellence Awards 2022.
The win marks the third year in a row that A1 Comms has collected an award at the annual event, this time taking home the coveted Best Postpay Partner accolade that recognises the winner’s success in delivering on innovation and outstanding trading and commercial performance.

The event, hosted by TV presenter Stephen Mulhern at Virgin Media O2’s Bath Road office in Slough, saw A1 Comms overcome tough industry competition to the Best Postpay Partner award, further emphasising the Derbyshire-based mobile phone company’s achievement.
Celebrating 25 years
A1 Comms faces a year of celebrations beyond its recent award win, as it approaches its 25th anniversary as a business. Established in November 1997, the communications specialist has grown from a single high street shop in Derbyshire, to a nationwide digital operation with over 2 million customers across the UK.
